Edicto: Presencia de MICROALGAS en la Playa de Vueltas
AVISO Playa de Vueltas
Dado que recientemente se viene detectando la presencia de MICROALGAS en la Playa de Vueltas de esta localidad, y en evitación de posibles daños a los usuarios; por el presente se recomienda adoptar las siguientes medidas:
- Abstenerse del baño y evitar el contacto con el material depositado en la arena en las áreas con concentraciones visibles de algas o espumas.
- Evitar situarse a favor del viento para reducir la inhalación de aerosoles en la orilla.
- Para la práctica de deportes náutica o cualquier otra actividad que pueda suponer la inmersión en presencia de un bloom, vestir prendas de neopreno que impidan el contacto del agua con la piel y cuyas aberturas se ajusten bien para evitar la entrada del agua, pues el atrapamiento de las microalgas entre la piel y la prenda aumenta el tiempo de contacto y los efectos.
- Tras el contacto con un bloom de algas, ducharse o enjuagarse abundantemente para retirar cualquier resto de material.
- Lavar y secar la ropa o material que haya entrado en contacto con el bloom.
- Si se observa cualquier efecto sobre la salud tras la exposición al bloom, acudir al médico.
EVITAR EL BAÑO ANTE LA PRESENCIA DE NATA, ESPUMAS O COLORACIÓN ANÓMALA DEL AGUA, EN LA PARTE DE LA PLAYA AFECTADA.

In light of having detected the presence of microalgae or possible flowering of microalgae, on this beach, it is recommended that bathers take the following precautionary measures:
- Refrain from bathing and avoid contact with any material washed up onto the sand in areas that present visible concentrations of algae or foam.
- Avoid placing yourself in head-on wind to reduce possible inhalation of spores on the shore.
- If you are engaging in water sports or any activity that involves the submersion in the presence of a bloom, you should wear waterproof garments that prevent contact between the water and your skin, ensuring that any zips or openings are well sealed to avoid water entering the suit, because in the event that the microalgae is trapped between the skin and garment it increases contact time and effects.
- After contact with an algae bloom, shower or rinse abundantly to remove any other material.
- Wash and dry the clothing or material that has come into contact with the bloom.
- If you experience any side effects after exposure to a bloom, seek medical attention.
AVOID BATHING IN THE PRESENCE OF SURFACE FILM, FOAM OR DISCOLORATION OF THE WATER, IN THE AFFECTED PARTS OF THE BEACH.
